Food was delicious would give it 4.5 stars. I was there when it was slow so my service was great. Staff was friendly and eager to please. Had bite off the bones delicious ribs. Coleslaw was coleslaw, potato salad was really good with chunks of egg white and chunks of potato in a mustard base. Everything was good can't wait to go back.
Saw the word Brisket in the window driving buy and had to check it out. Service was extremely slow but the gal serving was pleasant. There were some orders going out so patience was needed. The brisket was worth waiting for. Very good flavor and texture. They managed to have a subtle smoke flavor that went through the meat. Also had the right amount of fat as well. The spicier sauce was not too sweet and has a unique flavor that was hard to pinpoint but kept me dipping even though I usually eat my brisket straight. Included a dense cornbread muffin with butter that also had good flavor and texture, normal coleslaw and pretty good fries. I'm going to check them out again for ribs and chicken soon.
The food was delicious! I had the "barnyard" and it was very tasty. My husband had the "glutenay" and really liked it. The waitress was nice and helpful regarding the menu choices. Service was slow though. They have some of the largest Elk antlers I've ever seen.
I'm not sure why we've never tried this place sooner. The barnyard is my favorite thing on the menu... it's perfection. The seafood platter was also very good. Service could use a little work. We had to go in for napkins, then again for silverware, another time for water, and finally our check. I would have understood if it was busy but we were the only customers.
Food is delicious at lunch and dinner. I like my breakfast sandwiches as well from there. The staff that has been there for awhile and the owner are nice.
